How Do I Connect My Devices to the Nexus 5G Router?

Getting started with your Wing Internet Nexus 5G is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to power on your router and connect your devices.

1. Power On the Router

  • Plug the included power adapter into the DC Power Port on your Nexus 5G.
  • Connect the adapter to a power outlet.
  • Wait 2–3 minutes for the router to fully power on. The LED lights on the front panel will turn solid once the device is ready.

2. Check Your Signal

The LED indicators display your cellular signal strength:

  • Solid Green: Strong signal
  • Solid Blue: Fair signal
  • Solid Red: Weak signal
  • Blinking Red: SIM error detected
  • Solid Gray: No signal detected

💡 Tip: If the signal is weak or not detected, move the router closer to a window or open area for improved coverage.

 

3. Connect Your Devices

You can connect using Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on your preference.

To Connect via Wi-Fi:

  • Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
  • Select your Nexus 5G network name (SSID), which is printed on the label at the bottom of the router.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password to connect.

To Connect via Ethernet:

  • Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the router’s 2.5 GbE or 1 GbE LAN port.
  • Connect the other end to your computer or laptop.

Once connected, your devices should be online and ready to use.
